Meet Your Instructor...
Hello! I'm Aurora, Founder of Work from Home Yoga.
My journey with this work began in 2011 as an attempt to learn how to cope with chronic anxiety and depression. I nervously walked into my first yoga class, intimidated and 100% convinced I wasn’t supposed to be there. Thankfully I stuck with it, and walked away with a deep sense of inner calm, gratitude, and a lingering question: “Is this what it feels like to be happy?!”
I knew I had to re-create that feeling. So I pitched 30+ work-trade partnerships with local studios and crossed my fingers. One teacher got back to me. With his generosity, the entire trajectory of my life shifted: I was handed the keys to the studio, a cleaning checklist, and unlimited access to this new thing that somehow made me feel okay for the first time in my life.
I’ve spent the past 10 years teaching & taking thousands of classes, dedicating my career to sharing with others how to re-create that feeling of “wow, it’s possible to feel THIS good?!” Work from Home Yoga was created out of a desire to share everything that has been gifted to me, with you. It’s my hope that this can be a community where you feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged in your yoga & mindfulness journey. Welcome to your new virtual home studio.Join the Community

to feel out of place, awkward, or confused when it comes to learning about yoga and mindfulness. Am I doing this right? Why is this so hard?! When will I start seeing results? That's why I like to emphasize equanimity, non-judgment, and playfulness in my teaching, inviting students to appreciate and discover their physical & mental potential at their own pace. It's all about finding the balance between effort and ease, not taking ourselves too seriously. We've got the rest of the day to do that!"

WFHY Class Philosophy
My goal is to deliver an experience that leaves you feeling inspired, empowered, and educated on how the benefits of mindfulness, meditation and yoga can be infused into your daily life to combat chronic stress & burnout.
All classes are crafted to be accessible, fun, and encouraging. I encourage students to see their practice as a laboratory: a starting point for exploration, self-compassion, and awareness, both on and off the mat.
Each session is rooted in alignment, foundational strength and mindfulness, with the goal of having you walk away feeling grounded, at peace, and accomplished.
