Aurora Myers
Hey there!
I'm Aurora. Within the past decade I have taught thousands of classes, workshops and trainings on the topics of yoga, mindfulness, mindset training, and stress reduction, and I'm excited & honored to be here with you.
My journey with this work began in 2011 as an honest attempt to learn how to cope with anxiety and depression. From overcoming the fear of public speaking to completing two 10 day silent meditation courses, I developed a passion for sharing the resources I uncovered and the skills I developed in an accessible, relevant way.
I like to emphasize equanimity, non-judgment, and playfulness in my teaching, inviting students to appreciate and discover their physical & mental potential. It's all about finding the balance between effort and ease, not taking ourselves too seriously.
I teach lighthearted classes that encourage students to see their practice as a laboratory, a starting point for exploration, self-compassion, and awareness, both on and off the mat. My goal is to craft accessible, fun, challenging, and encouraging classes that are rooted in alignment & mindfulness, with the goal of having students walk away feeling grounded, at peace, and accomplished.
